AI collections for B2B · Made for Indian businesses
Get paid on time — without spending your day on payment follow-up calls.
Tagaada takes your outstanding invoices from Tally, Zoho Books or Excel, then follows up with each customer on WhatsApp and email — politely and firmly, with a payment link — until the invoice is settled.
Free while we grow. No card required. Want us to set it up with you? Leave your details.
The law is on your side. Your follow-up process isn’t.
45 days, by law
Under Section 15 of the MSMED Act, 2006, a buyer must pay a registered micro or small supplier within the agreed period, which cannot exceed 45 days from acceptance.
3× the RBI bank rate
Section 16 makes the buyer liable for compound interest, with monthly rests, at three times the RBI bank rate on anything paid late.
Tax pressure on buyers
Since FY 2023-24, Section 43B(h) of the Income-tax Act lets buyers claim the expense only in the year they actually pay a late MSE invoice — a reason your customers should want to pay you on time.
But a rule only helps if someone follows up. Most owners still do it themselves: scrolling the ageing report, calling, sending WhatsApp messages one at a time, and forgetting who promised to pay when. Read the 45-day rule guide →
How it works
Bring in your invoices
Upload the outstanding report from TallyPrime, Zoho Books or any Excel sheet. Columns are matched automatically. Automatic sync from Tally is available on request.
Prioritise who to chase
Each customer gets a risk score from amount, age, payment history and promises kept, so you start with the invoices that matter.
Follow up on time
Courteous reminders before the due date, firmer ones after — on WhatsApp and email, inside working hours. You approve each one, or let them go automatically.
Capture the answer
AI reads replies and suggests the promise-to-pay date, dispute or payment claim. Disputes and replies that are not in English always go to a person.
Get paid and reconcile
Each reminder can carry a Razorpay link or a UPI QR to your own UPI ID. Upload your bank statement and Tagaada suggests which customer each credit came from, spotting TDS short-payments; you confirm with one click.
A follow-up sequence that sounds like you, on a good day
Every message is drafted from templates you approve and personalised with the invoice details. Templates are ready in English; Hindi and Hinglish drafts are included for you to review. Tone escalates gradually and never crosses into threats or harassment.
Example sequence for a 30-day credit invoice. You can change every step.
- 3 days before due — WhatsApp: friendly heads-up with the amount and a payment link
- On due date — Email: invoice summary and payment options
- 7 days overdue — WhatsApp: polite reminder, asks for an expected payment date
- 15 days overdue — Email: second reminder with the open bills
- 30 days overdue — Email: firm reminder citing MSMED Act interest, if you are a registered micro or small enterprise
- 45 days overdue — Final notice, then the customer is flagged to you to call
Built for how Indian B2B actually works
WhatsApp first
Your customers read WhatsApp before email. Send each reminder from your own phone in one tap, or automatically from your WhatsApp Business number with Meta-approved templates.
Voice calls Coming later
An AI voice agent that makes the call you keep postponing, confirms the invoice and asks for a date. Not available yet.
Email from your own mailbox
Reminders go from your own Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or SMTP mailbox, so customers see a name they know.
Starts from Tally
Reads the bill-wise outstanding report you already keep in TallyPrime. No new process for your accountant. Automatic sync is available on request.
Part-payments and many bills
Handles part-payments and many open bills per customer, summarised in one message instead of one reminder per bill.
Bank receipts matched
Upload the statement from HDFC, ICICI, SBI, Axis or any bank. NEFT, RTGS, UPI and IMPS credits are matched to customers and bills by name and exact amount, with TDS gaps flagged.
MSME Samadhaan pack
For registered micro and small suppliers: every late invoice with its 45-day due date, days late and Section 16 interest, ready to download for a Samadhaan filing.
Morning summary
One message every morning by email or WhatsApp: what came in, who promised to pay, what is disputed, and who to call today.

Questions
Which accounting software does it work with?
Upload an export: TallyPrime’s Bills Receivable report (XML or Excel), a Zoho Books receivables report, or any Excel or CSV ageing report from Busy, Marg, Vyapar or your own sheet. Automatic sync from Tally through a small bridge app is available on request; live Zoho Books sync is being set up. QuickBooks Online and Xero are planned.
Will my customers feel harassed?
No. Every sequence starts with a courteous reminder before the due date, respects working hours, and stops automatically the moment a payment, a promise-to-pay date or a dispute is recorded. You approve the tone and every template before anything goes out.
Which languages are supported?
Reminder templates are ready in English. Hindi and Hinglish templates are included as drafts while native speakers check them, so read them before you use them. Other Indian languages are planned, and each will ship only after review by native speakers.
Do messages come from my number and email?
Yes. Send each WhatsApp reminder from your own phone in one tap, or automatically from your WhatsApp Business number with Meta-approved templates. Email goes from your own mailbox (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or any SMTP server), never from a look-alike domain.
What happens when a customer disputes an invoice?
The reply goes to your Inbox with the customer’s message and the AI’s reading. A person on your team confirms it, and follow-ups on that invoice pause until the dispute is resolved.
Is my data safe?
Your ledger data is used only to collect your receivables. Every message, reply, payment and setting change is logged, you can download all your data at any time, and we delete it on request.
